Hit & Run Fatality


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Bureau, is investigating a crash that occurred at the listed location.  According to detectives, the victim was walking eastbound on Northwest North River Drive and the subject vehicle was traveling behind him.  At the 3300 Block of Northwest North River Drive, the victim was struck by the vehicle.  After the crash, the driver of the vehicle did not stop. The driver of the vehicle continued eastbound, made a U-turn, and fled the scene.
