Armed Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the above listed residence.  According to investigators, the victim, Eduardo Martinez, was inside the shed located in the rear of the residence when four armed subjects entered and demanded money and drugs.  The subjects pistol whipped and utilized pepper spray as they continued with their demands.  Martinez's stepfather, Luis Santos, heard loud noises and began to walk towards the shed and was confronted at gun point by the subjects.  The subject pushed Santos to the ground and proceeded to the residence.  They shattered the rear sliding glass door and gained access to the residence.  Idrania Morales, mother of Martinez, and her son Samir hid under the air-conditioning unit while the subjects ransacked the residence.  The subjects fled in an unknown direction. No one was injured during the incident and no property was taken.
