The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that occurred in the City of Sweetwater. According to investigators, Sweetwater Police Department responded to a 911 call in reference to a fire. Once the fire was extinguished, the officers discovered a deceased body. The deceased person was transported to the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner for identification. The medical examiner's report identified the deceased person to be Rominia Fernandez. Investigators continue to follow all leads and urge the community to contact Crimestoppers with any information regarding this incident.
