(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department Homicide Bureau, is investigating an incident that occured at the above listed location. According to investigators, both the victim and the subject were traveling eastbound on S.W. 136 Street in separate vehicles. The subject was following the victim as they approached stopped traffic near the intersection of S.W.137 Avenue. Once they came to a stop, the subject exited his vehicle and began to shoot at the victim's vehicle. The victim accelarated her vehicle to avoid being shot and struck multiple stopped vehicles in the process. The subject then entered his vehicle and turned the gun on himself. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and the subject was pronounced deceased on the scene. Further investigation revealed that the couple had been recently divorced. No one else was injured during the incident.
