Homicide


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, two unknown black males entered the business and shopped for several items.  As the victim, Rashid Keblawe, was bagging their items, one of the subjects shot him.  They proceeded to jump over the counter and beat Mr. Keblawe.   As Mr. Keblawe attempted to fight back, the subjects shot him several more times until he was unresponsive.  Both subjects then stood over Mr. Keblawe and shot him again before fleeing in an older model Buick 4-door.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded and pronounced him deceased on the scene.

Video surveillance captured the images of the subjects and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the subjects responsible for this incident.  Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Crimestoppers at (305) 471-TIPS (8477).
