(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, the victim was sitting at a bus stop when he was approached by several subjects.  One of the subjects produced a firearm and shot several times striking the victim and a black female.  The subjects fled on foot in an unknown direction.  Arriving units from the North Miami Beach Police Department were able to obtain information and provide it to responding units.   Officers saturating the nearby area observed several subjects matching the description riding inside a Jitney Bus.  The subjects were detained and are being questioned by investigators regarding their involvement, if any.  Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units responded and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene.  The female victim sustained a gunshot wound to the lower extremity and was airlifted to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center where her condition is unknown.
