Theft of a Firearm Captured on Surveillance


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Hammocks District, is investigating the grand theft of a firearm that occurred on December 8, 2015, at 13001 SW 88th Street. The victim inadvertently left his bag in the lobby of the business where it was found by the subjects. The incident was captured on surveillance video. Investigators are seeking assistance from the community in locating the female subject and identifying her male counterpart that walked out of the business with the victim's bag which contained a firearm.
