Armed Carjacker Captured On Video


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating an armed robbery/carjacking that occurred on Thursday, January 1, 2015, at a restaurant located at 8080 SW 67th Avenue. The victim was in the rear parking lot of the restaurant when he was ambushed by the subject. The victim was pistol whipped and the subject fled from the scene in the victim's vehicle. The victim suffered minor lacerations and bruises to the face.

Surveillance video captured the image of the subject and investigators are seeking the assistance of the community in indentifying and/or locating this individual. Video surveillance footage may be obtained from the FTP site.
