Home Invasion Robbery

Robbery Subject Captured, Three At Large


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating a Home Invasion Robbery that occurred on Thursday, January 8th 2015, at 25045 Krome Avenue at approximately 4:30 a.m. According to investigators, four adult victims were inside the residence sleeping when they were woken up by the sound of breaking glass. Four armed subjects were outside the residence and proceeded to fire shots into the residence, ordering the victims outside. One of the victims was able to call 911 prior to exiting the residence. The subjects ransacked the residence and were able to remove some property. However, police units arrived in the area while the subjects were still on scene, prompting them to scatter and attempt to flee from the area on foot. One of the subjects was located in the area and arrested. The investigation into the identity of the three subjects at large is ongoing.
