(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau is investigating a home invasion that occurred at the above listed location.  According to investigators, the subject knocked on the victim's door posing as a Miami-Dade Water and Sewer employee.  Once the victim allowed the subject inside the home he allowed the second subject to enter through a side door.  One subject distracted the victim by talking to her while the second subject went inside her bedroom ransacking it for valuables.  The victim became suspicious and picked up her telephone in an attempt to call her neighbor when she was thrown to the ground by one of the subjects.  Both subjects then fled from the home in a white truck with an undisclosed amount of valuables.  The victim sustained minor injuries to her lower extremities.
