(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit, is investigating a crash that occurred on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, in the Town of Miami Lakes. The investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling west on Miami Lakes Drive when the driver appears to have lost control. The vehicle came to rest after it crashed into a light pole at the intersection of Miami Lakeway North. The driver and passengers expired on scene due their injuries.
