Narcotics Arrest


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Hammocks District, conducted a narcotics investigation which resulted in the arrest of a City of Sweetwater police officer. Through the investigation the officer was identified as Christopher Heredia, who advised detectives that he was currently relieved of duty. Mr. Heredia was charged with purchase of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was Tina Schofield, who was subsequently charged with sale of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
