(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that occurred at the above listed residence.  According to investigators, officers responded to the scene in reference to shots fired.  Once the officers arrived, they discovered a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim, Frazier Taurus, was transported to Ryder Trauma Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.  The subject, Markeita Davis, fled on foot in an unknown direction.  Frazier Taurus and Markeita Davis reside together and do not have any children in common.  Further investigation revealed that Davis was involved in an accident earlier that evening causing her vehicle to be disabled and a tow truck transported the vehicle to her residence.  As the tow truck was delivering the vehicle, a verbal dispute ensued between Davis and Taurus.  Davis then produced a firearm, shot Mr. Taurus and fled on foot in an unknown direction.  As investigators continued to gather information and evidence, Markeita Davis returned to the scene and she was taken into custody without incident.  The firearm was recovered.
