Armed Carjacking

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating an armed carjacking and shooting that occurred at the listed location. According to investigators, the victim pulled into the convenience store in a 2001 to 2004 two-door light blue BMW convertible with a blue convertible top, bearing Florida tag# CVWA13.

The subject was standing outside the store when the victim parked and exchanged words with the victim. The subject then produced a firearm and shot the victim, who attempted to flee but collapsed a few feet away. The subject took the victim's car keys from his pocket and fled in the victim's vehicle, westbound on NW 167 Street.

The victim was transported to Ryder Trauma at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
