(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating an incident that occurred at a residence located at 2989 NW 43 Terrace. At approximately 2:30 a.m., units responded to the area in reference to shots fired. They searched the area but were not able to locate anyone injured. As the occupants in the resident woke up this morning, they discovered a black female in her late 40's deceased from an apparent gun shot wound.
