(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department's Northwest District are investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries in Northwest Miami-Dade where they have identified the person responsible.

According to investigators, they have been working five separate vehicle burglaries where the subject has burglarized vehicles by searching for unlocked cars using a flash light.  Once inside, he then looks for valuables to steal.  Detectives were able to confirm that Mario Thomas is the subject responsible for the vehicle burglaries and are seeking the assistance of the community in locating him.  Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact 911 or crimestoppers.
