Teens Shot While Sitting In Vehicle

(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting that involved three teens, one of whom was pronounced deceased on the scene.  Investigators say that Florida City Police Department along with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to reports of a shooting.  On arrival at the scene they discovered three teens inside a vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.  The driver of the vehicle, Noricia Talabert, was pronounced deceased on the scene while the other two teens were transported to local hospitals in stable condition.  The preliminary information revealed that the three teens were sitting in a red Nissan Sentra when they were ambushed by unknown subjects in another vehicle.  Ms. Talabert sped off across a vacant lot and crashed into a large tree.  The subject vehicle fled in an unknown direction. 

Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

UPDATE #1: The Miami-Dade Police Department with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service has identified and located, Christopher Walker, for the murder of 17 year old Noricia Taiabert. Walker was located in Brooklyn, New York.
