The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred at a residence and resulted in three males sustaining gunshot wounds.
According to investigators, at approximately 1:45 this morning 911 received several callers reporting hearing gunfire at 11356 SW 214 Street. Responding officers found four males outside of the residence.
Investigators say that as the four males sat in front of the residence, a red Kia Sorrento pulled up to the residence and an unknown black male, seated in the rear passenger seat, opened fired at the men from the vehicle.
Jacoby Easterling sustained a gunshot wound to the left foot, Jarvis Easterling sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks, and Fred Prescott’s inner right foot was grazed by a bullet. The fourth male, Jermaine Roundtree, was uninjured.
Mr. Jacoby Easterling and Mr. Jarvis Easterling were transported to nearby hospitals in stable condition.
The vehicle fled the area, last seen eastbound on SW 214 Street.
