Armed Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department's Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating two men who committed an armed robbery at a residence in Northwest Miami-Dade on Saturday, December 05, 2015.

Detectives say that about 12:50 that afternoon, Mr. Vega arrived home at 2315 NW 107 Street when he was approached by two black males armed with a gun.  Both of the robbers demanded money from Mr. Vega and then grabbed the necklaces from his neck before shooting him several times in his lower extremities.  The subjects then fled onto an awaiting vehicle being driven by a third unknown subject.  Mr. Vega was transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma Hospital where he went into surgery and was listed in stable condition. 

Investigators were able to acquire an image of the subjects' vehicle and a forensic artist provided a sketch that was done with the description given by Mr. Vega.
