Home Invasion Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating two men, who today carried out an armed home invasion robbery in Northwest Miami-Dade.

Detectives say just after 12:00 noon, a truck delivering merchandise to a home at 2144 NW 42nd Street was intercepted by two masked men, one of whom had a silver firearm. They forced their way into the home, ordering the two deliverymen and the four occupants of the house to the ground. They robbed the six victims of money and cell phones.

Before fleeing eastbound in the stolen delivery truck, with the merchandise, one of the robbers fired at the victims. No one was hit.

One of the robbers was dressed in light blue jeans, a grey hoodie and had red bandana covering his face.

UPDATE #1: Video surveillance footage may be obtained from FTP site which captured the images of the subjects. Detectives are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating these individuals.
