The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau is investigating a shooting in Florida City that left a male dead. Investigators say that the Florida City Police Department along with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR) responded to NW 14 Street and 8 Avenue in Florida City, in regards to a male shot on the side of the road. Once the units arrived, they discovered a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. MDFR airlifted the victim to Kendall Regional Trauma where he succumb to his injuries.
