The Miami-Dade Police Department's Kendall District is conducting an investigation where a MDPD vehicle was burglarized in Southwest Miami-Dade in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 16.

According to investigators the subjects drove up in a white Chevy Aveo and parked across the street from the MDPD vehicle.  The passenger exited the subject vehicle and was acting as the lookout, while the driver walked up to the police vehicle breaking the driver's side window with an unknown tool.  Both subjects then fled the area without taking any property.  The subjects returned 15 minutes later and entered the MDPD vehicle taking an Electronic Control Device and a backpack containing miscellaneous items.

Surveillance video of the subjects and their vehicle was captured during the crime and detectives are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating this individual.
