Stolen Marked Patrol Vehicle

(Miami-Dade County, FL) --

Detectives from Miami-Dade Police Department’s South District are investigating the theft of a marked MDPD vehicle from a residential driveway in Southwest Miami-Dade. Detectives are asking for the help of the community in identifying/locating the stolen patrol vehicle.

According to investigators, shortly after 8:30 Monday morning the officer to whom the vehicle was assigned awoke to find it missing from her driveway. The vehicle, a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria, contained a helmet and police bullet proof vest.

UPDATE 1: Emilio Galban and Giovanni Reyes have been arrested for the Theft of the Miami-Dade Police Vehicle.
