The Miami-Dade Police Department’s (MDPD) Special Victims Bureau arrested 46 year old Donnell Johnson for Attempted Sexual Battery and Burglary, which occurred on April 27, 2016 in southwest Miami-Dade. 

Investigators say that during the early morning hours the subject, a stranger to the victim, forced his way into her residence and forcefully attempted penial/ vaginal intercourse.  An open condom wrapper left on scene was collected and submitted for analysis. On June 7, 2016, a DNA match through the Codis Offender Database identified Johnson as the offender.  Johnson was located, arrested, and charged accordingly.
