Shooting


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Detectives from Miami-Dade Police Department's Northside District are investigating a shooting that left a man and woman injured. 

According to investigators, shortly after 7 o'clock Monday evening officers responded to a shooting at 1225 NW 103 Lane. Once arrival, they discovered a male suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and left arm and a female suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and transported both victims to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Both were conscious and breathing.

Investigators are looking for a black male and black female who were seen fleeing the apartment complex on foot.

The motive remains unknown at this time and the investigation continues.
