The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating a woman who robbed a drugstore at 8665 Bird Road of just over $1,000 last week.

Detectives say that shortly after 1:00 on the afternoon of Monday, June 13, the subject, wearing a blue hoodie pulled over her head and a pair of large sunglasses, entered the store and picked up several items.  She approached a female cashier as if to pay for items.  As the cashier opened the register to complete the transaction, the subject placed her hand inside her jacket, implying that she had a weapon. She demanded that the cashier give her all the money in the register.  The subject then exited the store and fled on foot.
