Home Invasion


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating a home invasion where a 61 year old lady was victimized.

Investigators say shortly after 2:30 this morning, the victim Ms. Mary Mister, was home alone sleeping.  Ms. Mister heard a noise and while approaching the hallway, was confronted by a subject with a hammer.  The subject then grabbed her by the neck, placed her on the ground and placed a sheet over her in an attempt to conceal his identity.

He then ransacked the property, stole three televisions, jewelry worth $9000, and fled the residence by unknown means.

The victim was not injured.
