The Miami-Dade Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into the theft of an unmarked police vehicle from the Southwest Miami-Dade home of an officer.

The officer to whom the vehicle was assigned woke up this morning and discovered that his two personal vehicles had been broken into and the unmarked police car was missing.

Detectives from the West District who are leading the investigation, are asking for the help of the community in locating the stolen vehicle; a dark grey, four door, 2015 Dodge Charger. The tag is 409XCY.
