Hit and Run Fatality


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Traffic Homicide Unit, is investigating a bicyclist that was hit and left dead. 

According to investigators the bicyclist was traveling south on SW 102 Avenue and 171 Street at about one this morning when he was struck from behind by a possible gray SUV.  MDPD together with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the bicyclist deceased on scene. 

Investigators are asking the help of the community if anyone has any information as to the vehicle or can identify/locate the individual responsible for this incident to contact CrimeStoppers.
