Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating two individuals that shot at officers. Investigators say around 11 Friday night officers spotted a 2014 Dodge Charger taken in an armed carjacking from the day before. As the officer pulled up to the vehicle at NW 24 Place & 54 Street, the offenders discharged their firearms striking the officer's car multiple times. The officer returned fire and the offenders fled on foot. A perimeter was established in an attempt to locate the subjects which yielded in negative results. No officers were injured and it is unclear if any of the offenders were hurt.
