Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department's (MDPD) Homicide Bureau are investigating a shooting which left one man dead and another man injured in northwest Miami-Dade.
According to investigators, at 12:26 p.m. MDPD officers responded to a call of a shooting in front of a residence located at 12530 NW 18 Court and discovered a man grazed by a bullet. Information was also provided to officers advising of a yellow Chevy Camaro seen fleeing the area.
Shortly after, officers located a vehicle matching the description of the fleeing vehicle in the area of NW 127 Street NW 17 Avenue and discovered a black male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR). MDFR personnel also provided emergency care to the victim grazed by the bullet and released him on scene.
