Road Rage Leaves One Dead |

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau, is investigating a shooting at about 6 o'clock this afternoon that left one man dead. According to investigators, the MDPD responded to a call of a shooting at SW 197 Avenue & SW 192 Street. Upon officers' arrival they discovered one white male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced this individual deceased on the scene. Detectives believe this was a result of a traffic dispute between the deceased, whom was driving an ATV and the subject who was driving a vehicle. The subject did remain on the scene and is being questioned by detectives. Charges are pending. The investigation continues... UPDATE #1: According to investigators Andres Diaz has been identified as the subject involved in the road rage incident. Mr. Diaz was interviewed by MDPD homicide detectives. Investigators are working in conjuction with the State Attorney's Office to determine formal charges if any.
