The Miami-Dade Police Department, Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal crash that resulted in two drivers losing their lives. Investigators say that a Mitsubishi Sedan and a Chevy SUV collided at the intersection of NW 17 Avenue and 79 Street. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and pronounced both drivers deceased on the scene. Detectives advise that at about the time of the accident a shooting had occurred at the corner of NW 82 Street and 17 Avenue but at this time they believe it is unrelated.
