Homeowner Shoots Burglar |

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Intracoastal District is investigating a shooting where an intruder was shot by the homeowner. Investigators say that the subject arrived in a vehicle and began forcing his way into the residence when he was shot by the homeowner. The subject was transported to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center where he is listed in critical condition. At the time of the incident, the homeowner, his wife and 2 children both 9 & 5 years old, were inside the residence. No one was injured. No further information is available at this time.
