Commercial Burglary


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department’s Hammocks District are seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating the subject(s) who burglarized two business places in southwest Miami-Dade early Friday morning, and stole $16,000.00 from one of them.    

Investigators say between 3:30 and 6:00 a.m., the unknown subject(s) broke into a Chinese restaurant at 15104 SW 72 Street.  Once inside the restaurant, they crawled through the ceiling to gain access to an adjoining cash advance store. The burglars used high-powered tools to pry open two safes from which they stole the money.
