Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department, Hammocks District have released video surveillance footage of the Christmas night break-in at a Southwest Miami-Dade electronics store, and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and/or locating the burglar.
The investigators say that shortly after eight o’clock last December 25, a man used a shopping cart to smash through the front glass door of the store, located at 13790 SW 56 Street.
He stole cellular phones and phone accessories, valued at approximately $500, and fled in an unknown direction.
The video surveillance footage of the incident, which may be obtained from the FTP site, showed that the burglar was shirtless and that he had a tribal tattoo on his arm.
The investigation continues.
