According to investigators, just before 1:30 a.m., on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, Doral Police Department officers were dispatched to a hotel, located at 3929 NW 79 Street, to reports of a unresponsive male lying on the floor of the hotel hallway. Responding officers discovered the victim covered in blood adjacent to the elevator. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel were summoned and determined the victim, later identified as Theodore Brown, deceased.

A preliminary investigation revealed the 25 year old victim of Bowie, Maryland was a guest at the hotel with a co- worker. The co-worker advised detectives that earlier in the evening the victim retired to their room. When the co-worker returned to the hotel and exited the elevator he discovered Mr. Brown on the floor in a pool of blood.

Anyone with information on the homicide of Theodore Brown is urged to call police.
