Arson Investigation


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Arson detectives are investigating four unoccupied vehicle fires at three separate locations.

According to investigators, shortly after 1:30 a.m. officers responded to an unoccupied vehicle on fire at a business located at 10240 SW 56 Street. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the business and extinguished the fire. While officers were conducting an investigation a second 911 call was received of two unoccupied vehicles on fire located at 10696 SW 56 Street. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and extinguished both vehicles. Subsequently a third 911 call was received of an unoccupied vehicle fire located at 10390 SW 56 Street. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded and extinguished the fire on the unoccupied vehicle.

The incidents is being investigated by Arson detectives to determine if these vehicle fires are related. No injuries were reported.
