(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a 38 year old male in Northwest Miami-Dade. 

Detectives say just before 1:00np.m. Sunday afternoon (March 26, 2017) officers from the Northside District responded to reports of a shooting in the area of NW 71 Street and NW 15 Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a black male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased on scene.

The investigation continues.
