The Miami-Dade Police Department, Robbery Bureau, is investigating an armed commercial robbery in Southwest Miami-Dade. According to investigators, shortly before two this afternoon, a white latin male, armed with a firearm and concealing his identity with a bandana, entered the business, located at 10609 Bird Road. Once inside, the individual jumped the front counter, grabbed the cash register and slammed it on the ground, breaking the register open. The subject then fled the scene, northbound on SW 107 Avenue in a black Dodge Charger, with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured in this incident. The investigation continues.
