(Miami-Dade County, FL) --
Miami-Dade Police Detectives, assigned to the Hammocks District, Crime Suppression Team, have arrested a school security guard for selling illegal narcotics nearby a school.
According to investigators, an anonymous tip was received stating a school security guard, working at Felix Varela Senior High School, was involved in narcotics activity. An investigative operation was conducted and the arrestee, Mr. Jamie Green was observed selling narcotics to a confidential informant. Mr. Green was stopped as he drove away. During the investigative stop, detectives found suspect cocaine and a cannabis vaper cartridge inside the vehicle. A search warrant was secured and executed at Mr. Green's residence where approximately 790 grams of marijuana, 29.4 grams of Cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $1600 in U.S. currency was seized. Mr. Green was arrested and charged accordingly.
