(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

 

Detectives from the Miami-Dade Police Department, Midwest District, are investigating a stabbing incident involving coworkers.

According to investigators, Israel Pena and Redys Padron were involved in an argument while in the company parking lot. During the argument, Redys Padron retrieved a knife from his vehicle and stabbed Israel Pena in his upper extremities.  Padron fled the scene in a white pickup truck and was subsequently apprehended. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center, in stable condition. Mr. Padron was arrested and charged accordingly.
