Detectives from Miami-Dade Police Department Homicide Bureau are investigating a double murder of a couple at a local gas station.

According to investigators, the subject, Oscar Blanco, was having an ongoing family dispute with the female victim. Blanco pulled his Ford F-150 pickup truck alongside the victim’s white BMW sedan that was stopped in the gas station parking lot. Blanco fired multiple shots into the sedan, hitting the female passenger and the male driver.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced the male deceased. The female was transported to Kendall Regional hospital, where she later died.

Blanco was arrested at the scene and police units found the rifle in his truck.
