Phone Threat Received at Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), is investigating a phone threat that was received at Miami-Dade College Kendall Campus.

According to investigators, a staff member received a call stating that there was a bomb in one of the buildings. College security immediately contacted the police for assistance. MDPD officers along with campus security utilized all available resources to evacuate students and staff.

Searches of the campus and surrounding areas revealed no credible threats.

The investigation continues.
