Police-Involved Shooting

The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Homicide Bureau, is investigating a police involved shooting.

According to investigators, a Homestead Police Department officer was dispatched to a call regarding a male armed with a gun. When the officer arrived, he confronted the subject and shots were fired.

The subject was transported to Kendall Regional Trauma Center, and was pronounced deceased.
