The Miami-Dade Police Department (MDPD), Northside District, is investigating a shooting of a teenager. According to investigators, the victim, a 16 year old black male, was sitting in the front passenger seat of a black Honda Accord at the Citgo gas station located at 1201 NW 103 Street. Unknown subject(s) opened fire into the vehicle striking the victim multiple times. The driver of the vehicle, who was inside the gas station, discovered the passenger suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The driver then drove the victim to North Shore Hospital where he was subsequently airlifted to Jackson Ryder Trauma Center. He is currently listed in good condition. The investigation continues.
