(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, Intracoastal District is investigating a drive-by shooting at a residence that resulted in a woman shot while she slept.  According to investigators, a 911 call was received in reference to multiple shots fired at a residence.  Responding officers made contact with the residents and discovered a female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  The victim, Martha Delcid, was transported to Ryder Trauma Center where she is listed in critical condition.  There were five other residents inside the house when the incident occurred.  Two of the residents were children, ages 7 and 9.  No other residents were injured.  No description of subjects or vehicle was provided.
