(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department, South District is investigating a shooting that resulted in a female shot in the head.  According to investigators, Jennavi Small and three other males were walking towards a bus stop when a verbal dispute ensued and one of the subjects produced a firearm and shot Ms. Small.   Miami-Dade Fire Rescue transported Ms. Small to Jackson South Trauma Center where she is listed in critical but stable condition.  The subject fled on in an unknown direction and still remains at large.

UPDATE #1:  The subject was located and identified as Darius Trevar Chaney.  He was charged accordingly.  The victim remains in stable condition.
