According to investigators, the victim, Ms. Angie Barrios, parked her vehicle in her driveway and walked to her front door.  The subject, Derrick Alce, entered her vehicle and drove away with her baby inside.  Responding officers immediately transmitted over police radio the description of the vehicle.  The vehicle was seen in the area of N.W. 57 Avenue & N.W. 167 Street where the driver crashed, fled on foot and was subsequently taken into custody without incident.  The baby was not injured and was reunited with his mother.  There is a Nissan, Altima, 4-door vehicle that was also involved and remains at large.
