Strong Arm Robbery


(Miami-Dade County, FL) -- 

The Miami-Dade Police Department's Robbery Bureau is seeking the assistance of the community in identifying and/or locating 5 women who robbed a store and assaulted an employee early Tuesday morning.

Detectives say that on May 17, just after the store opened, five women entered the store and began picking up large quantities of the same type of merchandise. The sales associate observed one of the females walking toward the exit, she asked the subject if she wanted her to hold the merchandise for her. The subject pushed the associate and began pulling her hair. The rest of the subjects approached the victim and began hitting her and one subject punched her in the face. All five subjects fled the store with an unknown amount of property.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the scene and treated the victim.
